Zaragoza, July 21st 2022
Teltronic has started up a photovoltaic self-consumption installation at its headquarters in Zaragoza, which consists of 343 solar panels with a power of 185 kW and occupies some 3,000 square metres on the roof of the corporate building.
The installation uses 525-560W photovoltaic modules with 144 monocrystalline cells and two inverters with an output power of 110 kVA. The system allows real-time monitoring of their performance and reports on the savings obtained.
The company’s objective is for the new installation to support 20% of its consumption, which means energy savings of 271.4 MWh per year and a reduction in emissions of 98.81 tonnes per year, equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by 34 hectares of forest.
Teltronic has always maintained a firm commitment to sustainability and environmental protection as essential aspects of the development of its activity, trying to minimise its impact and prevent pollution. Solar self-consumption is a very effective way of achieving the objectives of reducing emissions without renouncing the use and exploitation of energy.
