In a significant milestone for public safety, Mato Grosso celebrates the completion of the implementation of the Digital Radio Communication Network in the state. This innovative project, employing Teltronic solutions and technology, was executed in partnership with the State Department of Public Safety (Sesp) and the Integrated Public Safety Operations Center (Ciosp).
The presentation event for the assessment of this implementation took place on November 27 and was attended by the governor of Mato Grosso, Mauro Mendes, the Secretary of State for Public Safety, Colonel César Augusto Roveri, public safety leaders from the state, and the Teltronic team, composed of Juan Ferro (CEO), Ricardo Floriani (Teltronic Brazil Director), and Ademir Borges (National Sales Manager for Public Safety).
Initiated in 2020, the project covers the entirety of the 141 municipalities and 29 districts of Mato Grosso. With an investment of over R$ 90 million, this implementation positions Mato Grosso nationally as a leader in digital radio communication. It stands out not only for its impressive territorial coverage but also for the advanced security and operational efficiency provided by the system.
Teltronic’s solutions integrate various institutions in the state, including the Military Police, the Military Fire Department, the Civil Police, the Penal Police, the Official Forensic and Technical Identification, the Socio-Educational System, the Federal Highway Police, and the Military House. The project encompasses 4500 digital radio terminals, with the training of 3000 public safety servers. To date, an average of 442 thousand digital radio calls per month and 5 million annually have been recorded.
