Teltronic continues to work on the BroMES project, which aims to design a multi-core and multi-technology deployment platform that will allow the company to develop broadband communication standards for mission-critical applications, such as 4G, 5G and the future 6G, compatible with narrowband systems such as TETRA.
The ultimate goal is for this platform to simultaneously support various 3GPP radio communication standards, bringing together protocols, requirements and specific needs derived from the supported technologies. Following the progress made during its first phase, the two-year project, which is being funded with 1.4 million euros from the ERDF through the CDTI, is in the final stages of implementation.
For Teltronic, a company with extensive research experience, the BroMES project represents an excellent opportunity to advance its leadership in the critical communications infrastructure segment, establishing a reliable platform capable of hosting different radio access standards with a native capacity for interoperability between them, thus facilitating coexistence, complementarity and technological migration in the short, medium and long term.
